What our listeners are saying:

Great music brings back memories…

During one of our visits, a Baxter resident requested the George Harrison song, “You’re 16.”  Always happy to fulfill a request, we worked diligently on this tune and came back ready to perform it the next month.  The lady who’d requested it had tears in her eyes and a huge smile on her face as she explained to all of us that her late husband had sung that song to her often, ever since their first date. “But I don’t think he got the lyrics right even once!” she told us.  We love the vivid memories that great music brings back and the opportunity we have to share these emotions with our listeners.

“For toe-tapping, sing-along favorites, catch up with Jokers Wild!  The guitar players’ pitch-perfect harmonies have you leaning in and thinking, ‘That’s as good as the original!’

Fun band, go see ’em!”

-Chrys Castle, Anchorage D.J –  100.5, the Fox

“Prestige had such a wonderful time with Jokers Wild!  Our residents keep asking about y’all, so we hope to have you back soon!”

-Lucas Marchant, Activities Director, Prestige Care and Rehabilitation Center

“I always look forward to those weeks that end with a performance from Jokers Wild!”

– Tony Barrett (Resident), Baxter Senior Living Center

“In the wise words of Nick Mason from Pink Floyd ‘A band is simply drums and bass with assorted novelty acts.’ —  Jokers Wild has it covered.  With solid bass and drums driving the musical bus, prepare to go along for an awesome journey through a wide variety of song favorites spanning multiple decades.  Always a good time to watch these folks!”

 Alex Leavens, Local Musician

“Jokers Wild have been a constant in our community throughout a tumultuous time that has allowed for very little permanence.  While they’re all amazing musicians, it is their showmanship, and the meaningful connections they have formed with our residents, that have elevated what would otherwise be a great live performance into a genuinely enriching experience that has had a profound impact on our resident’s quality of life.  Our residents laugh, sing, dance, and most importantly, connect, with Jokers Wild — and Baxter Senior Living wouldn’t be the same without them.”

– Travis Merrigan (General Manager), Baxter Senior Living

“You guys crushed it at the vintage market! So fun to watch you guys play!”

 Brandon Brenchley, Local Musician

“ I’m so glad Jokers Wild is our house band!”

Ann Osborne (Resident), Baxter Senior Living
